During my tenure at Nanlabs, I have contributed to various impactful projects, adapting to a wide range of technologies. Some key highlights include:Complete Redesign of a Long-Standing Production ApplicationI was part of a project to rebuild an 11-year-old production application from scratch, focusing on cleaner, maintainable code and efficient, scalable infrastructure using distributed systems with Kafka and microservices. For most of this project, I co-led the technical aspects alongside a colleague, maintaining continuous communication with the client's CTO. My responsibilities included architectural decision-making, team leadership, and hands-on development for both frontend and backend.Key Achievements:Collaborated on architectural decisions to improve code quality and scalabilityImplemented CI/CD pipelines and service deployment on Kubernetes and ArgoCDTech Stack: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, TypeORM, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes, ArgoCDMVP Development for Animated Personalized GIFsI also contributed to the development of an MVP for a platform that creates personalized animated GIFs, including a Chrome extension to collect contact data from LinkedIn. I played a critical role in investigating and implementing video-to-GIF conversion with minimal quality loss and efficient resource usage.
