I worked with KTH (and Swerim) for the Swedish Arena for Additive Manufacturing, in creating a data repository for storing AM processing parameters and post-built characterization results. Sandviken, Sweden

The continuous annealing furnace RHF 125 was optimized for the reduced duration of annealing and increased efficiency for better sustainability. This was done by designing heat treatment trials with statistical modeling with MODDE and classical isothermal JMAK heat treatments to obtain an optimum heat-treating window for 13C26 and 20C strip steel grades. The heat treatment was carried out in industrial-scale furnace with post characterization of recrystallization degree with EBSD-SEM and micro-hardness measurements. A recrystallization model based on micro-hardness values for 13C26 was established.

Python was based as a linking platform to compile different data values. The thermodynamic data were computed with the help of PyCalphad. Diffusion controlled simulations of solidification pattern & Homogenization (Austenisation and Temper) for Uddeholm Additive Manufactured (Laser Melted) Dievar tool steels. Diffusion mobility modelling with PyCalphad for binary alloy systems.

Researched in thermodynamic stimulation of 'Low density - High specific strength steels' for automotive application. 2.Also experimented to simulate Bainite phase in Stainless steels.3. Modeled mathematically the tapping process of Basic Oxygen Steel-making furnace to prevent slag carryover and trapping.
