Product Line Leader (High End 1D)
CurrentLed the overall success of the High-End 1D Scanning Product portfolio, overseeing a team of 30 staff, including program managers, firmware (FPGA, Micro), hardware (electronics, mechanical), NPI, and test engineers.As a product portfolio champion with a strong customer focus, I provided vision and guidance both upwards to management and downwards to the product line team. My dual focus allowed me to cultivate relationships with external parties—key customers, suppliers, and collaborative institutions—as well as internal teams such as manufacturing, materials, senior management, and finance, ensuring comprehensive engagement in all aspects of the business.Planning:• Anticipated customer application needs and identified necessary features, performance, and pricing to remain competitive in alignment with our strategy.• Maintained a broad awareness of industry conditions, competitive products, competitor activities, changes at key customers, and applicable regulatory influences.• Developed effective product development plans in alignment with the annual Business Plan.Execution:• Provided functional direction, technical guidance, and coordination for project team members.• Delivered new products and services to the market according to documented development plans, on time, within budget, and with competitive performance against industry benchmarks.• Assisted with business development and customer management activities, including customer visits, conference and trade-show attendance, and identifying collaborative opportunities with other Teledyne Business Units and external agencies.• Collaborated with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth transition of new products to production readiness, establishing a robust and efficient supply chain, achieving high first-pass production yields, and ensuring strong gross margins and throughput.
