I developed some proof tests based on the Kalman Filter algorithm in Mathematica language. Also, I implemented an application written in C++ based on a few libraries, such as OpenCV, boost and armadillo.* Researching, implementing and producing documentation of a MATLAB GUI tool which compresses BMP images using the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and compares the results with several compression techniques like JPG and Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT). The metrics which this application uses are the Compression Ratio (CR) and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) with good results.* Researching and producing documentation in Principal Component Analysis method for OCR application. I worked on a MATLAB script to reduce the redundancy of NIST image descriptors information with PCA/SVD method.
