The company was a software service provider to health care professionals and clinics. I worked there as a software engineer on their core billing software called VISTA++. KABOT gave me a chance to work over different data transformation standards and incorporatedreporting services to the software.The standards I worked over were:270/271 - Eligibility: A X12 based format to find out if a patient is entitled fora specific precedure to an insurance company.EDI - Electronic Data Interchange: The claim to insurance company was being transmitted to a clearing house /insurance company through EDI. EDI is a X12 based data interchange format which contains complete information about a patient and clinical procedures performed over a patient. ERA - Electronic Remittance advice: ERA is a response to EDI. It returns financial information about a claim posted through EDI.Reporting Services: Various different reports were built using LogiXML which projected financial information about a practitioner/clinic at different stages.Tools & Technologies: VISTA++ was built in ASP.NET using C# and MVC was employed at middle tier. WCF services were incorporated to capture the entire business logic.nHibernate was used as data persistence layer and was responsible for all databaseoperations in the application.Database: The database was Intersystems Cache DB. This is an object based light weight database and the company claims it to be the fasted in the world.In 2013 the company was merged to a much larger group called CureMD.

Worked for Unite Form, an e-commerce specializing company based in Southampton UK. I was hired for 3 months contract to build an e-commerce website for one of their clients but the contract was extended for about a year.

The company were retailers in music and lighting equipment located at Oxford Road, Reading.My job was to co-ordinate with IT Support Team in the development of the website and propose application framework. Architecture of the application strictly followed MVC.

Worked for Intersoft Inc. Pakistan drawing strength mainly from ASP Classic, ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, and Web Services. During my stay I designed and developed an online bidding system for freelance developers, documented Human Resource Management system, wrote web services for a restaurant reservation system and integrated Systran’s Web Translator to an ASP.NET application. Later on I worked with Lumensoft (another software company in my city) on behalf of Intersoft, Pakistan to help their employees convert from VB.6.0 to VB.NET. I stayed with them for about a month and built security module for a telecommunication company DVCOM.
