Thesis: Fluid-structure interaction of strongly deforming flexible rotors(For application in wind turbines, hydrokinetic turbines, helicopters and drones)◦ Experience in conducting experimental campaigns on flexible rotors, including flow field measurement (PIV) and structure measurement (3D DIC).◦ Developed and compared various structural (FEM, beam, rod, ribbon) and fluid (CFD, BEMT, Vortex) models to construct an aeroelastic model capable of predicting rotors’ fluid-structure interactions.◦ In-depth analysis of rotor near wake behaviour and its interaction with the rotor geometry at various operation conditions (representing both helicopter and wind turbine regimes).◦ Designed and conducted tests on innovative configurations for flexible rotors.◦ Assisted in the supervision of undergraduate students.
