A lot of hands-on labs was applied on Cisco Firepower, Fortinet FortiGate and Multi-Vendor Security Solutions in order to apply and get trained on the concepts learnt.* The technical part of the internship provides the study material and hands-on labs applied on the following :- - Cisco Network Security (CCNA Security)- CCNP Security: Implementing Cisco Security core technologies Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) and Firepower- Fortinet Security Solutions: 1. FCP - FortiWeb 6.4 (NSE 6)- Sophos Firewall v19.5 - Engineer (ET80)- Palo Alto Network Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)* The Personal Skills part provides the following topics :-- Soft Skills: there were a lot of topics covered like Communication, presentation, Leadership and problem-solving skills as well as team building and time management, - Business English: we had speaking about Careers, professional email writing as well as the Grammar and Vocabulary for English interviews, marketing and negotiations.- Project Management and Fundamentals of Microsoft Project

* This internship covers two security aspects: Network Security and Information Security. * With a Network Security level, a network professional demonstrates the skills required to develop a security infrastructure, recognize threats and vulnerabilities to networks, and mitigate security threats. Moreover, this curriculum emphasizes core security technologies, the installation, troubleshooting and monitoring of network devices to maintain integrity, confidentiality and availability of data and devices, and competency in the technologies that Cisco uses in its security structure. # Network Security 1.0 (Cisco NetAcad):-Mitigate common Layer 2 attacks.-Implement a site-to-site IPsec VPN.-Implement Zone-Based Policy Firewall.-Configure Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) for Firewall, NAT/PAT and AAA.-Configure Cisco Firepower for IPS, Threat management and Web filtering.* The second aspect considers in Cybersecurity Operations level that will cover the necessary knowledge and skills needed to successfully handle the tasks, duties, and responsibilities of an associate-level Security Analyst working in a Security Operations Center (SOC).#CyberOps Associate 1.0 (Cisco NetAcad):-Use network monitoring tools to identify attacks against network protocols and services.-Understanding Incident Analysis, Metrics and Workflow in a Threat-Centric SOC.-Investigate endpoint vulnerabilities and attacks.-Evaluate network security alerts.-Using a Playbook Model to Organize Security Monitoring.-Apply incident response models to manage network security incidents.

This curriculum provides a comprehensive introduction to the networking field and in-depth exposure to fundamental networking.
