• Setting up of the infrastructure for the new application, through planning, configuration and liasing with infrastructure teams in the company.• Analysing the existing Ruby on Rails code base.• Writing an automated test suite in Java to ensure the migrated application would work asexpected.• Planning, setting up and integrating a MySQL database.• Deployment of code in preview and production environments using Thanos.• Migrating customers' XML feed processing from the old to the new system.• Streamline validations of job postings from various sources, to make them easier to process for downstream services.• Taking on a multi-service project to introduce the controls for our customers to identify jobpostings with remote workplaces, guiding the conversation in planning, supporting an apprentice in the project, and leading the project all the way to its rollout in production.• Updating Spring Boot and other libraries in a variety of services, learning the process of testing and deploying them on a Kubernetes Cluster in preview and production.

• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure• Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.• Defining and setting development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.• Coordination and communication within the team and customers• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools.

- Perform functional testing of new features and releases as well as bug fixes - at best you fix the problems before they become errors- Create and support different automation suites, such as smoke, full regression, end-to-end regression, etc. and execute tests on a continuous basis- Provide feedback and stay in touch with the Software development and Product Owner team to ensure a constantly improving software-quality
