I graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Bursa in 2023. During my final year, I focused my internship on small animal oncology, specifically working with cancer patients. My research interests led me to delve into the energy metabolism of cancer cells, which became the focus of my undergraduate thesis. Graduating with a DVM degree, I decided to further pursue my academic journey by enrolling in the doctoral program at the same institution, specializing in biochemistry within the Department of Veterinary Medicine. Currently, my research is centered around investigating the impact of the PFKFB2 enzyme on pancreatic cancer. This endeavor aligns with my passion for understanding the intricate mechanisms underlying cancer progression and exploring potential therapeutic interventions.
