I'm a software architect & engineer with over seven years of experience in bringing ambitious new features from concept to customers - many of which are ML/AI (machine learning/artificial intelligence) based. I also have experience designing the back-end service infrastructure required to make those features possible with a keen eye for scalability, security, ease of development, and balancing those factors with business needs, realities, and regulatory obligations.I have experience at all levels in the software engineering process from directly implementing software code to high level planning and strategy, and I have spent my career thus far in roles of increasing scope in leading the execution and delivery of these projects. I am well versed in leading and mentoring teams of engineers with a diverse set of experience levels and backgrounds, pioneering new ways of on-boarding new-hires, inter-engineer communication, and documenting internal infrastructure and services. I have similar familiarity collaborating with non-engineering organizations and organization leadership to successfully execute on delivering projects and features. My broad range of interests, hobbies, and projects - ranging from technical to artistic - outside of work have also been a boon to furthering success through my ability to bring a set of diverse additional skills, knowledge, and experience to the table, beyond those which are classically associated with software engineering.
