This was caused by a poor layout planning and had to be analyzed. The purpose was to perform a current state analysis of the material yard based on the criteria’s “Layout”, “Vehicles and Personnel”, “Purchasing and Material handling”, “Material flow”, “Time studies and measurements” as well as a “Risk analysis”. Subsequently, a new layout on future material yard was created, illustrated and proposed in “Autodesk Revit”.
