I am responsible for sales managers and sales executives. Guaranteeing the highest level of customer service while striving to produce the top figures in the company.Working with team members within my area; ensuring knowledge on products, sales performance and KPI's are the best they can be. Health and Safety, Company Policies and Store Standards are enforced, taught and learnt constantly. My day to day duties include that of a Showroom Manager, within the Northampton showroom. On top of this my days include, staff progression and probations, sales staff KPI’s and monitoring of store targets, mileage sign-off and payment, sickness and return to work reviews, holiday requests and store marketing initiatives. I directly manage 14 staff but over see another 50 in regions outside of my own. I created and manage a rota system set for all staff working shifts within a single day. This is simply managed by store managers creating fair working patterns for their showroom sales staff and me overseeing and checking on a regular basis. My home-store (Northampton) regularly competes with much larger stores and is one of the companies most profitable and most reliable money earners.

As a showroom manager I am responsible for ensuring my sales staff are delivering the highest level of customer service. We in-store ensure that your purchases reflect upon you needs and desires. My team's sales targets are of many many thousands of pounds both as a collective effort in-store and personally. I ensure they hit their targets early through support and motivation to save panic later in the month.I manage the shifts of all staff within the midlands area. Being the most senior member of staff in this area I am always available as a point of call to staff needing any assistance. My role develops towards a more senior role within the company of which I am very excited for. My store competes with the flagship showroom in Norwich and for 2016 is 2nd highest earning showroom of the year to date.

My daily duties were to sell. I covered 3 showrooms across the East Midlands; March, Peterborough and Lincoln. Targeted at typically around £30k per month, of which was always obtained. I would tend to be in a showroom in the absence of a store manager (day off/sickness) and do they daily errands of running a showroom.

Working on a franchise of the worlds largest gold buying company. I worked my way through the ranks to be one of the companies highest performing individuals. Travelling the country training and retraining more senior parties in the business I developed my training and sales abilities.

This was my first spell at Mattressman where I was taught the in's and out's of mattresses.Unfortunately i was made redundant shortly after joining due to the sudden closer of the showroom on Brotherhood Retail Park.
