Dr. Ai (pronunciation: i) Deng has 18 years of experience in economic consulting, academic research, and project management. He has advised clients in some of the largest cartel and market manipulation cases in the past decade. He has also worked closely with US agencies including the FERC, the CFTC, and the FTC on issues such as market manipulation and merger review. His experiences span a variety of industries, including autoparts, chemicals, computer software and hardware, digital ads, energy, finance and commodities, multisided platforms, publishing, real estate, vitamins. Dr. Deng is an external expert for the Romanian National Council for Scientific Research, a lecturer at Johns Hopkins University, and an editor of American Bar Assoc.’s (ABA) Antitrust Source magazine. In addition to academic journal publications and book chapters on statistics, econometrics, causal effect estimation, and financial fraud detection, his research on antitrust issues has appeared in the GAI Report on Digital Economy, Journal of Competition Law & Economics, Journal of Antitrust Enforcement, Antitrust Magazine, Antitrust Bulletin, Antitrust Source, Law360, and ABA's Economics Committee Newsletter.
