Event Security Program Lead @ Meta
Current-Promoted to prioritize global alignment for Meta’s security procedures, leading initiatives to drive consistency across international event planning teams. -Manage team of nine U.S-based Event Security Planners, overseeing security operations for ~4K annual events at Meta's Menlo Park Headquarters. -Manage security plans, including coverage requirements, scheduling, and supervision of 3rd-party personnel, for the safe and successful execution of on-site, off-site, in-person, and virtual events.-Facilitate collaboration with cross-functional partners and vendors (e.g. Audio-Visual, facilities management, and transportation teams)-Implement access control measures to promote safety and success of diverse events, from policy-making sessions to executive briefings and team-specific gatherings.-Collaboratively manage security event budget, driving cost-conscious decision-making and efficient resource allocation.
