I am an active member of the entrepreneurship community. In my entrepreneurship practice, I founded new ventures in various sectors, including technology, retail, online marketplace, and the real estate sector. I recently co-founded AxoTech, a tech transfer startup that commercializes Federal Lab-owned patent(s) for virus detection.Because of my love for entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial community, I dedicate my work to research and understanding the process of entrepreneurial action. In my dissertation, I discuss what differentiates an entrepreneurial action from a non-entrepreneurial enterprising activity; and the process of how these enterprising activities accumulate over time, in a certain sequence, to form an entrepreneurial action outcome. My other academic work includes studying how big data innovation transforms the cost of learning and the negotiation style in corporations. Additionally, I also take an interest in studying investors’ behavior in the context of the business angel network, and crowdfunding platforms.
