Following my recent Graduation from Newcastle University with a BSc in psychology and a dissertation dedicated to the wellbeing of high-performance athletes, my recent full-time role at TASS is an honour. TASS are a government funded sports organisation who are dedicated to to both athletic and personal development of athletes across the country, with wellbeing and inclusion at its core. My work focuses on fostering relationships and environments that enable individuals to thrive not only achieving excellence in their sport and academics but doing so while maintaining positive mental and physical health. Throughout my academic background and hands-on experience I have developed an understanding of the psychological tools necessary to support high-performance athletes. I am particularly passionate about the intersection of mental health and sport and I aim to combine my knowledge and enthusiasm to create positive lasting change. TASS are currently working with over 40 universities, 70 colleges and 6 Women’s football clubs to kickstart this positive movement, and I am so excited to be a part of it.
