Working with a voluntary management board and local businesses, with the objective of improving trading conditions on Poole High Street. I undertook a review of existing governance, business practices, systems, resources and finances, introducing project management and financial tracking processes and a CRM system. I proposed a refocused business strategy, vision, values and approach which responded to the challenges raised by local businesses and advised the board on recommended next steps. A significant stream of work undertaken was the development of close collaborative working with BCP Council, Dorset Police and local organizations to identify and implement strategies, addressing some of the significant underlying barriers to trading success in the area including; retail crime, antisocial behaviour and begging. I also contributed to Future High Street Fund and Historic Action Zone strategies being developed by BCP council.I designed a social media marketing strategy for the business and wrote and managed content. I also provided support and planning for the BID's community events including Light Up Poole.

Passionate about pattern and colour, I work in my back garden beach hut studio to create designs for my own homewares range and as a freelance surface pattern designer designing the RNLI's 25 Knots best selling kitchen range. Sadly due to changes in our circumstances I had to put my passion for textile design and printing on hold and get a 'proper job' to keep our family finances afloat. I will reopen Tiny Bird Textiles as soon as financially feasible.

Passing on the core skills and techniques for repeat and surface pattern design and exploring the hand-printing process of lino, relief and silkscreen printing onto fabric. My role is to pass on practical skills and encourage and support students' in their creative endeavours.

My role at LexisClick began as Business Process Improvement and developed over time to include Key Account Manager for Cadogan Tate (an international premium and fine art moving services company). I was responsible for their social media planning, content writing, execution and analysis. I worked on a major, successful new business pitch for development of a new website for Pavilion Dance South West (PDSW), working in collaboration with LC's strategic lead, we scoped the project, developed the strategic approach, project plan and delivery, working closely with the PDSW team and brand design company 'Revolting'
