Recycled Pulp & Packaging Paper Plant

Pahang, Malaysia

• Reviewed, Project Safety & Health Plan, Waste Management Plan, Noise & Vibration Plan, HIRAC and Erosion and Sediment Control Procedure. • Submit update of Environmental Management Plan & Erosion Sediment Control Plan for the Project specifically for each work zone area.• Setup Safety Health committee & Environmental Performance Committee for the project.• Liaison with authority (DOE, DID, DOSH, CIDB, IWK) on approval of Genset, lifting permit, sewerage, Batching Plant etc. to ensure compliance of all required permit, licenses, written approval for smoothest work process.• Conduct training to all department on EHS awareness especially to the foreign Chinese worker to ensure their awareness on Malaysia Law. • Conduct Management Meeting to ensure procurement process and construction planning are aligned with EHS requirement.• Review contract & commercial aspect of environmental monitoring, audit, procurement of PPE and other tools and equipment.• Develop Environmental awareness program on waste reduction, recycling, waste management and tree planting. • Manage & review incident notification, flow chart during incident and accident happens on-site.• Present and report to authority on project progress, Lost Time Injury, incident report, mitigation measure and good management practice carried out at site.• Manage yearly HSE budget & Staffing requirement. Lrt 3 Project

• Coordinate all monthly samplings, reporting and Inspection between the environmental consultant and Project Delivery Partner. • Prepared Environmental Management Plan, Erosion Sediment Control Plan, Waste Management Plan, Noise & Vibration Plan and Erosion and sediment Control Procedure. • Prepared monthly and quarterly reporting and environmental register.• Conduct and EMS 14001 Internal Audit and Environmental Compliance Audit. • Ensure compliance of all required permit, licenses, written approval for smoothest work process.• Ensure all mitigation measures installed at site is effective and compliance to specification.Accomplishment/Target:- Project inspection and supervision using Novade Application.- All project documentation manages by using Team Binder Application. - Ensure Environmental Management Work to comply with the reward and penalty system established by Client.

Transmission Line And Lss Project

• Manage EIA Team leader and EIA Consultant for all 9 EIA Transmission projects.• Coordinate all samplings and sub studies in the EIA within the project time frame.• Engaging with local authorities for feedback on studies conducted.• Conduct Public Dialogue and Focused Group Discussion.• Carried out Environmental Scope Information (ESI) Workshop.• Carried out Environmental Screening for LSS Photovoltaic in Bukit Selambau Kedah• Liaison with DOE State Office for EIA approval (DOE Kedah, Pahang, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan Melaka, Perak and Putrajaya)• Prepared and review all TOR, EIA and EMP report in accordance to DOE guideline and format.• Ensure all Environmental Screening, TOR, EIA and EMP Report submitted and Approved by DOE within timeline. • Present the EIA findings in Technical Review Committee Meeting in DOE in the EIA Approval process.• Prepared Proposal and Evaluate Tender to award for Collaborator and EIA Consultant Accomplishment:- Solar Plant Project exempted from carrying out EIA studies.- Expedite the submission of 4 nos. of Term of Reference with DOE approval and submission of 2 EIA Project.

Hulu Terengganu Hydroelectric Project

• Manage and supervise a staff of 2 environmental engineers in environmental protection work supervision on site.• Provide ongoing training for 30 site staff, including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical engineers and inspectors to improve engineer’s competencies and awareness on current environmental problems at site level. • Tracking and monitor project execution in environmentally sound manner.• Develop, maintained and update Environment Management Plan & Environment Management System (ISO 14001:2004) throughout the project.• Developed Wildlife Rescue/Translocation Plan for the Project with collaboration of University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Wildlife Department (PERHILITAN) and TNB Research. • Conduct internal audit according to project contract requirement.• Manage annual Third Party Environmental Compliance Audit including writing for Corrective Action Report to DOE.• Review, revise and update Erosion Sediment Control Plan (ESCP) Drawing.• Prepare monthly report for client and compile all environment monitoring report and studies conducted.• Ensure compliance to all EIA approval condition.Accomplishment:- Involved in R&D studies conducted for the project, in compliance with the DEIA. - Coach a team of Engineers who are very concern and aware with environmental value.- Successfully manage environmental protection works for the project and awarded as the Best Environmental Practices by Global Summit CSR Award 2016.

Uitm Campus Bukit Besi

• Manage all record & checklist accordance to Environment Management System ISO 14001: 2004. • Planning for quarterly 3rd Party Audit by independent Auditor, DOE & JKR CAST.• Involved in Surveillances Audit EMS 1400:2004 by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd as auditee.• Advise Project Manager / Project Executive / Construction Manager on environmental regulations and implementation of Environmental Monitoring Plan at site.• Conduct environmental quality monitoring in the construction site and prepare the report be submitted to the client and relevant authority (JKR)• Regularly inspect the conditions of Environmental Protection items and arrange for maintenance of these items accordingly. • Prepared monthly report and slide show presentation to client during site meeting.Accomplishment:Successfully involved in ISO 14001:2004 certification audit by SIRIM QAS in maintaining the project certification without issuance of any NCR.

• Manage all record & checklist accordance to Environment Management System ISO 14001: 2004. • Advise Project Manager / Project Executive / Construction Manager on environmental regulations and implementation of Environmental Monitoring Plan at site.• Conduct environmental quality monitoring in the construction site and prepare the report be submitted to the client and relevant authority (JKR)• Conduct the environmental monitoring such as noise, wastewater and effluent monitoring• Handle sampling activities at site and coordinate with Environmental Consultant and SO Environmental Team• Propose Environmental Monitoring Plan.• Prepare Joint Measurement Sheet and arrange for inspection with SO representative for claim purpose. • To coordinate, monitoring and maintain of all environmental equipment’s and record keeping• Regularly inspect the conditions of Environmental Protection items and arrange for maintenance of these items accordingly• Prepare monthly report and present to the project team during meeting.• Periodically brief project team on issues pertaining to environmental mattersAccomplishment:Successfully manage environmental protection works under the budget given in the Bill of Quantities and ensure the compliance to the regulation.
