  will be responsible for ensuring that our food products meet the highest quality standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and exceed customer expectations. Roles & Responsibilities:Supplier and Vendor Quality: Evaluate and monitor the quality of incoming materials or components from suppliers and vendors. Training and Education: Provide training to employees on quality control processes, procedures, and best practices.Audits and Compliance:Conduct internal and external quality audits to assess compliance with standards and regulations.Prepare for and assist with external audits by regulatory agencies or certification bodies.Root Cause Analysis:Investigate the root causes of quality problems or non-conformance issues.Develop and implement strategies to prevent reoccurrence.Quality Documentation:Create and maintain quality documentation, including quality control plans, inspection reports, and test protocols.Ensure accurate and thorough record-keeping of all quality-related data.Review and approve product documentation, including specifications, drawings, and proceduresQuality Standards and Procedures:Develop, establish, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and guidelines for products or processes.Ensure adherence to industry-specific quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, NFSA …)Customer Feedback:Gather and analyses customer feedback and complaints related to product quality.Use customer input to drive improvements in products or processes.REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLSBachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.Proven experience in quality assurance within the food industry.Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC, FSSC).Excellent time management skillsFlexibility / Adaptability.Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.COMPETENCIESManaging Work and time
