Aimee Hebert is a partner with Kelly Hart & Pitre, the Louisiana presence of Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP. Aimee has focused her practice on helping oil and gas clients for more than twenty-five years. She represents both individuals and businesses in handling complex oil and gas matters. Her experience includes, among other things, cases involving mineral lease maintenance, implied obligations, royalty payments, servitude maintenance, operating agreements, production handling agreements, blowouts, and oilfield environmental issues. She has been appointed by the Louisiana Law Institute to serve on the Mineral Law Committee to study and develop new legislation in the area of oil and gas law. She served as a member of the Advisory Council of Louisiana Mineral Law Institute for many years and taught basic oil and gas law for five years at Tulane Law School as an adjunct Assistant Professor of Law. She has also been invited to speak on oil and gas topics by various industry groups, including the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, the Institute for Energy Law, and the Louisiana Mineral Law Institute and authored numerous articles on oil and has issues.
