About Aimee Kiesling

I am currently employed as a Senior Case Manager for Queensland Corrective Services managing a cohort of high-risk complex individuals post court dates and post-release from custody. For this role, I have gained experience in risk management to assist with reducing recidivism rates. In my case management approach I utilise brief interventions and the Risk, Need, Responsivity approach to tailor rehabilitative needs to offenders to assist with their positive reintegration within the community. I am currently the Portfolio Holder for Queensland Police Service in the Coomera area which enables me to strengthen and continue to build the ongoing relationship with Police that is vital to assist us. I previously held the Alcohol and Drugs portfolio, in doing this I assisted team members in referring offenders for either individual or group sessions for programs.I am a dedicated and hard working individual who is always open to learning an expanding my professional development. My interests in the Criminal Justice field are in the AOD space, intelligence field, risk management among others.
