Working towards self-sufficiency, the case manager helps clients tackle any barriers to employment including childcare, housing, paying bills, and transportation. Case manage for clients in NSC's Employment Readiness & Placement (ERP) - Clients are eligible for ERP if they have been in the United States less than 5 years and if they are currently seeking new employment. The case manager screens clients and enrolls them in ERP after they are referred to NSC from the CAO. Clients can be enrolled in ERP for one year and in that time period they work with the case manager and the job developer to reach their career goals. This position supervises three interns in the MG program and works collaboratively with Resettlement and Placement Case Managers, Health Access team members, and Employment Services at NSC.
