As a Senior Librarian at Auckland Council Libraries, I have been supporting various projects and initiatives to enhance the library services and resources for the diverse communities in Auckland. I have a Masters in Information Studies from Victoria University of Wellington and 15 years of work experience in the library sector, including 6.5 years as a Senior Librarian and 2.5 years as a Librarian. I have developed and demonstrated strong skills in writing, research, public services, collection development, and digital literacy. My core competencies include information management, community engagement, customer service, and team collaboration. I am passionate about promoting the value and impact of libraries as hubs of learning, creativity, and inclusion. I am committed to advancing the professional development and advocacy of librarians and library workers in New Zealand and beyond.
