When I am home during college breaks or during the summer, I work in the UC Davis Genome center under Ernest Hofftyzer. I am an assistant to those in the office, which includes filing documents and past PO orders, contacting vendors to confirm orders and PO's, organizing filing cabinets to fit the current cumulative year, looking up orders in the UC system.

This role was an internship for my senior graduating project. I interned under Veterinarian Bruce Dennie at Woodland Vet Hospital from November 2017-March 2018. This entailed preparing surgery equipment, tables and rooms, directing clients to rooms, filling prescriptions as well as an assistant during ultrasound and x-ray examinations.
