As the Deputy Head Teacher at Chelmsford Learning Partnership, I lead a team of dedicated and passionate educators who strive to provide the best learning opportunities for our students. I am responsible for overseeing the curriculum development and teaching and learning, whole school assessment, staff development, safeguarding, and have a strong passion for speaking and inspiring others about the relevance of outdoor learning and play based learning and its impact on children's social, emotional, mental health. I am also a certified Trauma Informed Mental Health Practitioner, providing in-school therapy and support for students and staff who have experienced trauma or adversity. I have a keen interest in understanding the neuroscience of behavior and how to create a positive and nurturing environment for everyone.I hold a first-class honours degree in Primary Education from Anglia Ruskin University and an MBA in Educational Leadership and Management, which enabled me to enhance my strategic planning, decision making, and innovation skills. I am passionate about supporting disadvantaged children and teacher wellbeing, and I aspire to become a Head Teacher in the near future.
