Operational management of a set of laboratories at the AstraZeneca Macclesfield site, providing a single point of contact for laboratory scientists and technicians. The role can vary from day to day and involves:-Overseeing materials flow, FMservice delivery, equipment availability, and performance management-Ensuring the laboratory maintains its operational efficiency by liaising with all suppliers - planning preventative and scheduled maintenance regimes with minimal impact to daily operations, ensuring any service requests are completed-Leading improvement projects including sustainability initiatives-Identifying and implementing process improvements in both internal and customer-owned processes-Ensuring day to day adherence to SHE procedures in the laboratory (eg. PPE compliance) whilst proactively reporting risks and near misses. Conducting monthly SHE inspections in the labs. -Completing GMP and GLS change controls as a change owner for installation, decommission and moving of equipment/ instruments- Use of ELN and Webcore to log calibrations of equipment

QA Senior Laboratory Support Technician at AstraZeneca Macclesfield site-GMP and SHE knowledge -Training new starters in lab tasks and preparation of eluent-Head of Avantor Archive Team: point of contact for any archiving queries within QAB, leading 2 team members and providing training for new starters-General housekeeping e.g. stock management of consumables, loading glass-washer-Preparation of media such as buffer for dissolution testing, UOC and Method B solvent system for HPLC -Archiving GMP documents such as analytical work books, deviation reports, CofAs etc -Calibration of balances-Calibration and use of pH meters-Use of eLab, CIMS and SAP
