• Provide administrative support and assist the Associate Director of Payroll with the development of solutions to improve new and existing processes and/or business operations.• Provide confidential support and data to Associate director of Payroll and HR leadership when processing payroll related to disciplinary actions taken, terminations, garnishments, IRS tax levies, etc.• Review and audit payroll information for accuracy and quality assurance. Monitor and ensure the financial compliance of routine financial transactions for both the University and the component units.• Regularly interact and maintain positive relationships with faculty and staff and serves as the point of contact for all payroll administrative and operational processes. • Review and process all payroll transactions, deductions, and time sheets. Research and correct potential errors and questions regarding payroll. • Assist in preparation of regularly scheduled reports. Complete data analysis for departmental budgets. • Maintain confidentiality, integrity & security of payroll and personnel data in compliance of state and federal regulations.
