I am currently working in translational research focused on the mechanisms of liver cirrhosis and portal hypertension in the Yale School of Medicine's Liver Center. I love my job. I recently completed my Bachelor of Science with Honors in Chemistry, on the Chemical Biology track, at Brown University. During my time in the undergraduate program, I completed 2 years of independent research with the Basu Lab. My work culminated into my honors thesis, titled "Novel CH-π Interactions of Polyethylene Glycols and Crown Ethers with Biological Aromatic Compounds." I am honored to have been an inaugural recipient of the Reade Y. Tompson Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research for this work. I intend to continue my education in chemical biology in the near future.I love to work with my hands, be it on the lab bench or at home with my numerous artistic endeavors. I am an adventurer, having completed the PoSSUM suborbital spaceflight training program in 2019, as well as filling my free time with hiking, skiing, and sailing. I am happy to be back home in the New Haven area, where I spent much of my younger years!
