Project focused on evaluating the outcomes of three surgical options for treating sigmoid colon volvulus: sigmoidectomy with anastomosis, sigmoidectomy with colostomy and sigmoidectomy with anastomosis and diverting ileostomy. My responsibilities include conducting a comprehensive literature review to compare these treatment options, analyzing post-surgical outcomes and presenting findings to inform clinical decision-making.
