CS TD Facilities in the water reclamation group (WATR) of Intel Corporate Services working in sustaining operations of a ZLD facility. Primary operator of a BNR/MBR system working in tandem with ion exchange and reverse osmosis systems. Knowledgeable in process equipment, instrumentation, control networks and schemes, and analytical methods that helps to ensure the plant is up 24/7.

Member of the research and innovation group primarily working on the Pure Water Wagon (PWW), a mobile demonstration unit for engaging the public about direct potable reuse (DPR). The PWW utilizes the full advanced treatment (FAT) scheme of ultrafiltration (UF), reverse osmosis (RO), and ultraviolet light with advanced oxidation processes (UV-AOP). With this process, secondary or tertiary wastewater effluent can be treated to produce water that meets drinking water standards and is used to produce beer, called Pure Water Brew, that helps to engage the public.My roles for the PWW have included making modifications to improve the performance and public engagement, operator to produce water, and engage the public at a variety of events such as the Washington County Fair and the Water Environment Federation's Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC). Within the research and innovation group, I also work on projects related to stormwater treatment and partial nitrification plus annamox reactors.

My graduate thesis was part of an interdisciplinary project, involving environmental engineering and chemistry, to develop a uranium sensing device. The primary focus was to develop a method for rapid analysis of legacy uranium contamination in the Four Corner's region of the US. My direct research role involved developing, testing, and optimizing electrospun polymer nanofiber mats capable of extracting uranium from complex aqueous systems. My secondary role was providing support for group members working on the detection of uranium. Work resulted in co-authorship in a peer-reviewed journal.

Conducted studies involving the synthesis and optimization of electrospun polymeric nanofibers used for the uptake of chromate in water. Materials ability to uptake chromate were tested in batch systems with chromate being measured by the diphenylcarbazide colometric method using UV-VIS. Work resulted in co-authorship in a peer-reviewed article.

Developed a user-friendly program in VBA to display a live feed of 25 products in a production line. The program displayed the product name, amount to be produced, current amount produced, and the shipping date. Also helped to systematically test ~10,000 products for manufacturing errors.

Computational chemistry research project involving the potential of cellulose as a biofouel.Analyzed glucose solvation in ionic liquids through approximately 168 computer simulations.Presented the work done through a poster session and written report. Work resulted in two co-authorships in peer-reviewed journals.
