★ My Ph.D. dissertation aims at developing Environmentally Assisted Cracking (EAC) resistant microstructures through appropriate thermal aging treatments for high strength aluminum alloys. ★ By appropriate aging treatment, strength levels equaling peak aged temper and EAC resistance on par with conventional over aged temper were achieved. This process has been patented and granted for licensing in Europe. We are actively looking for potential buyers in aerospace/automobile industries to take up this process. ★ This project is sponsored under Prime Minister Fellowship scheme partnered with Godrej Aerospace, India

★ Convener for an International symposium on Corrosion entitled " International Corrosion Prevention symposium for research scholars" supported by NACE International Gateway India Section, NACE EAP Rim area & Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.★ An overwhelming participation of around 125 research scholars all over the India , Indonesia & Taiwan attended a two day workshop and a two day symposium organized in the premises of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

* Worked on understanding the influence of cyclic loading conditions (corrosion fatigue) on the newly developed temper* Testing the effect of newly developed temper across different ΔK values and frequencies.* Part of Fontana Corrosion Center, The Ohio State University, USA

★ After serving as an office bearer for the last 3 years, I took up mentoring the incoming office bearers !

★ In-charge of a team of 50 to conduct various promotional activities on the importance of corrosion science. ★ We conducted various workshops and seminars for the benefit of students. ★ We assist NACE International Gateway India section chapter in conducting yearly conferences and symposiums (CORCON and CORSYM)

★ Assist the student chairman to conduct events in a regular manner★ Organised a two day workshop on "Recent advances in Electrochemical techniques for corrosion research" was organized in Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi .

★ Worked at Aqueous corrosion laboratory, IIT Bombay. ★ I was engaged in a project entitled Hot Salt Stress Corrosion Cracking of gas turbine materials sponsored by The Defence Research and Development Organization, India.

★ Worked in the School of Chemistry under Dr.Tushar Jana, Fellow of Indian Academy of Sciences, UOH,Hyderabad★Summer Research Internship under Indian Academy of Sciences, India
