Hello! My name is Ajay Pandya and currently I’m a senior in my last semester at Rutgers Business School. Over the past few years, I've spent time double majoring in Business Analytics and Information Technology, and Marketing; learning more about each, as well as their overlap.In the minds of many, Analytics associates with “technical” skills with rules and frameworks, where a problem solver mindset is needed. Meanwhile, Marketing is paired with "creativity", where success can be more subjective. While these two areas of study differ greatly, in many ways they work together amazingly. Being able to looks through both lenses has shaped the learner I am and the way I think.My hobbies and interests do well to represent myself as well. On one hand, I have technical hobbies like personal coding projects and participating in business simulation competitions; but on the other hand, I express myself through things like film making, video editing, and playing percussion. This blend of mindsets that allows me to offer a unique perspective in conversations. In the future, I’m hoping to learn and grow in the qualities I already have and develop new ones to carry forward!
