Key responsibilities• Oversee and coordinate the day to day activities of all security guards on site;• Lead guard staff in emergency or volatile situations and provide necessary direction;• Coordinate with Regal scheduling regarding any scheduling changes or additional guard services required;• Administer required on the job training for all new site employees;• Performs supplementary training on a frequent basis for security guards;• Review daily reports and incident reports to ensure compliance with Regal policies on report writing;• Ensure general administrative duties such as signing in/out packages for residents(if applicable), granting access to amenities, booking amenities, issues parkingpasses are completed by all staff;• Maintains and monitors all reservation books, key logs and work orders (if applicable);• Follows site protocols and procedures at all times and enforce rules where necessary;• Responds to alarms and resident/guest calls; decides what actions to take based on situation, facts known and position limitations;• Keeps a clear line of communication with Regal Management and Client representatives:• Ensure all site equipment is in good order and proper supplies on hand.• Investigate and/or report any performance complaints from Client or Regal; administer corrective actions and/or report to Human Resources depending on severity;• Monitor access control points and system for any breaches• Patrol required areas of the work site;• Use CCTV equipment in a responsible manner and as per the site instructions andcode of practice• Ensure all doors/windows of buildings are secured• Checks for any disturbances and security violations; fires, vandalism, unusual/ suspicious activity/persons or safety/fire hazards.• Perform all duties in such a manner as to comply with Regal’s Code of Conduct, Employment Letter and Health and Safety Policy.
