With 10 years experience working within talent acquisition and 10 years within the education and career development sector. I have worked with global organisations as well as SME'S in implementing strategies to recruit senior level management appointmentsIn 2012 I started working in the welfare to work sector for Intraining part of the NCG. I worked my way up to Team Leader managing multiple sites with 12 direct reports. I left Intraining in 2016 due to redundancy and started with Hull City Council. My first role was a Key Worker on the Youth Employment Initiative. This was supporting the hardest to reach young people in the city to move onto a positive destination by breaking down multiple barriers. In 2022 I became a Senior Participation Advisor for the Connexions service. My role involves working in a number of Schools across the City as well as working with 16-18 year old NEETS. I work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders both internal and external to the Council. Such as training providers, education establishments, HCC SEND, youth justice and early help. Experience of delivering IAG in pupil referral units and alternative provision providers both pre and post 16.
