This role involved Quality Assurance of the qualifications and standardisation of practice within the team, this was completed by supporting assessors in the field, standardisation meetings, one to one support and sampling. There was a need to support assessors to question effectively and interpret the criteria in order to meet learner’s needs fully and promoting best practice within the staff team. Working closely with the External Verifier was also essential in order to ensure quality of delivery.I also delivered and facilitated the NCFE vocational courses within Health and social Care settings such as End of Life Care, Dementia Awareness, Infection Control, Diabetes Awareness, Mental Health Awareness and Safe Handling of medication. This also involves completion of induction documentation and advice and guidance relating to progression routes within the individuals own role and the sector. I support learners to undertake ‘self-study’ and give on-going support for the duration of the course, before reviewing assessment workbooks and supporting achievement.
