Responsible for high-level coordination of large, regular and occasional Champalimaud Research (CR) events, overseeing them from their inception to completion to ensure they fulfill the objectives required with the maximum impact and efficiency. Coordination of online, onsite and hybrid events, formulating detailed plans and strategies to achieve both the conceptual and practical goals, doing procurement on innovative solutions, creating timelines for events to aid planning and production, coordinating meetings, liasoning with teams, guests and partners, recruiting volunteers, overseeing and executing events, and evaluating them via queries and reports. Managing budget planning and execution; Doing technical visits to hotels, restaurants and other spaces to consolidate a network of adequate services and suppliers; and creating procedures for events to standardize their implementation and improve the ease and efficiency of the process.Coordinates the Events team, which includes a Scientific Events Organiser and an AudioVisual Technician.Highlights1. The main goal of this cycle was to promote light in its various dimensions in order to aware the audience about its importance for the development of society.2)Solar Kitchen: Snacks under the Light of MathematicsActivity organized with the National Laboratory of Energy and Geology about the potentialities of light as a source of energy and the mathematics the equipment used for solar cooking.3) Lighthouses: Communication between sea and shore through light Booth about lighthouses and the use of light as a communication tool. Presented at Brussels in "Science is Wonder-ful" European Comission event, visitors had the opportunity to understand the optic properties of light in a marvelous journey through the history of Portuguese lighthouses, a nurtured symbol of Portugal adventurous history.4) Lights that Announce Land to the SeaActivity developed with Farol Museu de Santa Marta and Portuguese Lighthouses Administration.
