Accountable for managing technology support services (Operations) and delivery of business outcome driven projects, that achieve operational and strategic objectives.Responsible for the transformation of IT Service Delivery, user perceptions and technical environment to better support Anglicare Victoria’s Strategy and Mission. This included refinement of the IT transformation strategic roadmap, establishment, end-to-end delivery and governance of all technology strategic and operational projects, the day-to-day delivery and improvement of IT operational support services (supporting approx. 1300 geographically dispersed end users, managing both internal (8 staff) and external IT professionals), budget management (OPEX $2m; CAPEX $3m) and the negotiation, cost and risk reduction and management of all service contracts and vendors.The key functions of this role include:• Define, implement and manage adherence to operations and project management delivery methodologies, standards, processes and tools.• Work with key stakeholders to refine the IT transformation strategic roadmap including development of associated business cases.• Provide a single point of accountability for all IT services – operational, projects and strategy.• Manage and monitor adherence to Governance and Risk Management Framework for IT delivery.• Manage the delivery of operational IT support services across the hybrid technology environment (on-premises, as a service, cloud).• Identify and deliver Business and IT improvement opportunities, including quick wins.• Manage the delivery and implementation of approved projects, across the full project lifecycle, including management and working in partnership with vendors.• IT Governance and technical oversight of corporate systems hosted externally, including upgrades to Finance (Microsoft Dynamics) and HR (Preceda) systems.• Leverage existing and emerging Government and NFP technology trends and initiatives.

Responsible for driving delivery of a number of initiatives that supported the transition of the organisation from the current functionally aligned shared services model to a service aligned, global business model.This included business change and off shoring components of the operating model, for the Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) business unit within the Global Shared Services division.

Responsible for providing leadership, vision, management and delivery assurance to a team of professional services consultants, aligned to the Information Management solution offerings of several strategic vender partners - Oracle, IBM and SAS.

Responsible for the delivery and implementation of high priority programs/projects and managed the provision of Divisional ICT support and operations services, including desktop and application support and maintenance, and ICT contract management.Ensured that key divisional IM&T projects implemented consistent program and project management, vendor management and business analysis standards, methods, processes and tools.

The Design Authority primarily worked to ensure that key DHS Information Management and Technology (IM&T) initiatives had a feasible business and investment position and well developed business cases, based on business benefits and DHS strategic objectives.This role oversaw the development, implementation and operation of a business process management approach that ensured consistent use of methods, standards and tools in the development of IM&T business solutions.
