As the Director of K-12 Education Policy at The Hunt Institute, Dr. Hart spearheads transformative initiatives that drive systemic improvement and prioritize outcomes for all students.With a career spanning classroom teaching, public and charter school leadership, and high-level policy advocacy, Dr. Hart brings a unique combination of practical experience and strategic expertise to his work. He is a trusted advisor and collaborator, skilled in crafting evidence-based policies and fostering bipartisan partnerships. Dr. Hart conducts research and leads impactful conversations on topics including equitable funding models, accountability systems, school choice, family engagement, and culturally responsive practices.Dr. Hart is also an accomplished leader in stakeholder engagement, regularly collaborating with policymakers, educators, and community leaders to develop solutions that address systemic inequities in education.
