My role as a Project Geologist has allowed me to continue to develop my skills as a Geologist in the environmental consulting industry by conducting environmental assessments (Phase I/II) on an independent basis across the country. I also continued my professional development by conducting multiple groundwater assessments throughout the Carolinas. I have also conducted multiple asbestos building assessments throughout the country.

My time at F&R allowed me to develop my skills as an environmental consult by conducting multiple environmental assessments (Phase I/II) following applicable ASTM standards, groundwater assessments following​ applicable state and/or federal regulations, and asbestos and lead assessments following applicable state and/or federal regulations. Additionally, I performed multiple geotechnical investigations following the USCS classification system for a variety of clients and utilized gINT to present our data collected in the field.

My role as a research assistant at Clemson University involved assisting a senior student with their final research. We installed pipes at various intervals in a few streams in the Clemson area. The purpose for this research was to determine which cations were being discharged into the stream from the groundwater.Previously, I attempted to map marble outcrops in Gorges State Park, North Carolina by site reconnaissance. Geologic maps of the area indicate marble, but it has sparsely been observed.My purpose was to delineate the marble "belt" with outcrop observations using GPS and inputting the data into GIS. A map was created with limited amounts of data due to unusually high rainfall resulting in the closure of a necessary access route.
