Accounting Assistant
Current• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely invoice processing, payment reconciliations, and collection on overdue accounts to maintain accurate and current financial records.• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and prepare T4A forms, supporting accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.• Calculate and reconcile employee commissions, collaborating with multiple departments to facilitate efficient payroll processes and maintain accurate compensation records.• Assist with monthly and year-end tasks, and engage in special financial projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and support to meet organizational goals.• Utilize strong analytical skills and attention to detail to address discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in data entry and transaction processing.
