I'm working as SCM Engineer(Logistics operations) in Ashok Leyland(Power Solutions Business) deputed by Lead HR Services.Our main process is planning of industrial and Genset engines for the marketing demand and execution( direct dispatch to customers) of the same with the help of manufacturing plant. My role involves in getting firm plan and rolling plan from marketing team for every month beginning, then i have to workout materials requirements for rolling plan with respect to each Bill of Materials. Sending the material requirements to vendor for the rolling plan for every month and following up the same, and following up PO for the same with vendor performance, and raising stock transfer PO for arranging required materials from inter units also. Making of GRN for the supplier materials on the same day of receipt or next day to avoid delay in vendor payment and ensuring the invoice copies to be reached at finance on time for vendor payment, and ensuring the materials stored in respective location to maintain 5S on Shop floor. Execution of customer sales order as per the schedule without material shortages on time. Making of billing documents for the customer sales order and for RMGP request and for stock transfer order and following up for the RMGP closure on time. Ensuring the packing of Engine and engine child parts as per the BOM, and verification of BOM in system with respect to production order to avoid negative inventory. Reducing the cogi with proper pre planing of materials using Excel trackers and also reducing shortages for the coustomer requirements. Service providers PO follow up and making GRN for service entry invoice. arranging vehicles for materials pickup at vendor locations and getting competative fright charges from transports and negotiating further to reduce logistics cost.

I'm worked in Ashok Leyland-IPWH project as a Store Executive ( Stores operations). My roles involves in I have to ensure manpower for every stage and follows the overall process in shifts and meet the daily production target with D+2 picking plans and execution of same without any loss with maximum utilization of all resources.Managing the inventory with daily physical verification process of B & C class parts and monthly physical verification of high value parts.Ensuring the daily material receipts and completion of binning on same day with GRN list and ensuring the materials quality and quantity while receiving.Managing proper processes followed and executed through Process audit, Check points audit, Safety audit and Ensuring work place presentation with the help of 5S auditGuiding subordinates to regular work improvements and daily difficulties.Ensuring the availability of materials for line feeding and doing kit audits on regular intervalsLine problem handling & developing solutions to satisfy the internal customer.Ensuring the timely dispatch of materials to VOR, Spare parts and Inter units.Daily meeting with associates for defect feedback and for defect control. Continuous improvement of the processes, quality and delivery performance.
