• Good knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management best practices in general• Extron programming for the AV systems• Troubleshooting maintaining of All the AV system like Projectors and sound system.• Providing a 1st / 2nd and 3rd line support service that ensures all IT equipment and infrastructure are running to its optimum performance and that all departmental KPIs and SLAs are met. Escalating where required. Whether it be an end user or an IT peer the role requires the individual to support and solve all issues• Hands on experience in using ghosting software (Acronis)• Managing Active Directory user and computer accounts• Restricting users by implementing Group Policies and working with different options of Software Restriction Policies• Well versed with MS Office tools and general core applications• Performs system backups and restoring as required• Managing changes, upgrades, enhancements and migration of IT Systems• Interact with Vendors and Suppliers to resolve Hardware and software problems or accomplish new changes• IT Assets Management • Perform other tasks and duties that may be from time to time required in order to meet the requirements of the role and the aims of the University

• Develop, implement and provide system administration support for the campus email servers, web servers, file servers, database servers and application servers. • Manages system security including responsibility for continually patching and updating all operating systems.• Install and support new and existing hardware and software systems, perform system software maintenance and upgrades as projects demand. • Assist in managing campus-wide network, DNS, DHCP, and Proxy services. • Support and maintain server room infrastructure.• Analyze and evaluate information technology (IT) security risks and controls.• Provide IT risk reduction recommendations and procedures. • Design IT security infrastructure.• Maintain and implement a disaster recovery plan in the event of a security breach or other catastrophic event.• Create technology based solutions for complicated work flow problems and improved data management.

• Configuring Active directory, DHCP, DNS , SMTP and File servers • Configuring Remote Desktop, Network Printer, scanners, webcam etc.• Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.• Troubleshoot and solve desktop problems reported by users.• Maintain system efficiency.• Verify that peripherals are working properly• Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together.• Assembling Systems and install user needed software’s.• Perform backup and recovery policy• Trouble shooting and maintenance of Desktop related problems
