If you asked me, 'Alex, what’s your dream job?' I don’t know that I could provide an answer. Sure, growing up, I shared similar aspirations to other kids - professional basketball player, actor, ice cream company CEO. Unfortunately, I stopped growing before I hit six feet, I can’t cry on cue, and I developed a bit of a lactose allergy in my college years. I needed to pivot.I’ve instead focused on core interests and passions across my decade-long career. Chief among those interests is a desire to help and support others, which is a common thread throughout each of my roles. That passion has led me to customer service and success roles within private industry, a position serving members of my hometown community in a congressional office, and a membership management and marketing role for a historical nonprofit. Additionally, my interest in research and writing served me well as I led communications and grant writing for the nonprofit, legislative correspondence for the congressman, and today, connect c-level tech professionals with invaluable resources to support their most critical priorities.It’s been a fun ride so far, and while I may never be hitting three-pointers for the Orlando Magic or starring alongside Tom Cruise in the next 'Mission: Impossible' movie, I look forward to seeing where my career will take me next.
