Operations Program Manager
CurrentPrepares orders or annexes codifying directions for reporting to include instructions for deploying units and subordinate unit input for routine readiness reviews. Analyzes regular and composite Unit Status Reports to identify and highlight current readiness issues, trends and directs inquiries to appropriate staff directorates for resolution. Serves as proponent for readiness reporting and force registration policy and provides expert advice on the legislative background for readiness reporting requirements, readiness reporting systems, and information technology programs established by the Secretary of Defense and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to meet the legislative requirements. Responsibilities include set up new military program Configuration Management processes and tools and exception to policy requests against regulatory requirements and recommends approval or disapproval of requests. Compares USR and Force Registration data elements to ensure compliance with readiness reporting policy. Manages purchasing function in accordance with guidelines set forth for the cold storage, dry storage, and military equipment operations of the facility. Maintain blanket purchase order log and update as new blanket purchase orders are approved. Maintain numerical file on all purchase orders. Manage the Army’s Supply Global Combat Support System. • Experience in managing complex technical baseline change processes and implementing processes to ensure that change management is well understood and effectively utilized in daily business execution.
