Adam Young is the founder of Atomic NYC, leading the company since 1999 to become the most trusted software engineering firm in education and publishing. With a mission focus on reading, learning, teaching, and publishing, he has developed industry standards at BISG, created industry-changing services at major publishers, transformed print publishers into digital businesses, and engineered some of the most important educational technology products of the last 20 years, including READ 180, Literacy Pro, and EL Dimensions. Adam’s work at Atomic has been featured by the New York Times, The Guardian (London), and The Age (Melbourne), and Atomic’s work for clients now helps hundreds of thousands of at-risk students every year. Adam has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from McGill University.
