As an AI/DL Research Associate at RP-126 Lab, I had the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects in the field of AI and Machine Learning. The lab, funded by JK Higher Education, is located at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University.My work at the lab included using various population and evolution intelligence algorithms for feature selection, model optimization, and hyper-parameter tuning. I also developed these algorithms from scratch by referencing the original research papers.In addition, I was responsible for creating image databases, converting them into tabular databases using CNN and DWT. I also created a character dataset for the Dogri script, utilizing transfer learning and clustering for labeling.In the field of computer vision, I worked on classification, segmentation, CNN and U-Net, developing various models to detect breast cancer, melanoma, cervical cancer, Alzheimer's and Dogri/Takri script character recognition.I had the pleasure of working with a diverse team of doctors, biotechnologists, and linguists, and I am grateful for the collaboration and knowledge-sharing opportunities that were provided to me
