Aftershoot is a fast-growing innovative AI photo culling and editing tool. As the social media manager, I steer our brand’s presence across multiple platforms— Instagram, Facebook (Page & Group), Threads, LinkedIn, and X. My day-to-day involves:- Engaging actively with our 80k+ community- Moniter trends and analytics to make decisions- Strategizing and executing short form video content- Collaborate with brand, content and influencer teams- Creating native content as per the social media strategy - Introduce latest product features and carrying out GTM campaigns My job isn't just posting content. After gaining 2+ years of experience in DTC, I pivoted to B2B with this role at Contensify. I handle thought leadership content for CEOs, CMOs, Co-Founders and founders of B2B SaaS businesses. This includes:1. Conducting a social media audit by deep diving into what are the gaps in their socials, and how can be improved to align it with their brand image and ICP.2. Creating a personal branding strategy and optimising their LinkedIn profile.3. Connecting with stakeholders across C-suite, sales and support to create laser-focused audience segments.4. Creating relevant thought leadership content for their socials which builds value and knowledge by taking a stand on industry trends.5. Probably the most important, is actively engaging with the community on the content, and across groups.6. Lastly, tracking the key performance indicators (KPIs) closely, creating bi-monthly reports to optimize the strategy for better results.

By focusing on an effective content strategy, I was able to organically increase leads from 15 to 102 in just 2 months.While I juggle everything from creating comprehensive buyer persons to editing graphics – I'm responsible for a bunch of tasks. Here are some of them:1. Defining content pillars and KPIs for every social channel.2. Providing guidelines and edited creatives and copy for paid advertisements.3. Creating content systems on tools like Trello to ensure consistency and transparency.4. Developing a content calendar that aligns with brand goals making strategic recommendations based on trend observations. 5.
