Being a part of Product Industrialization department in Rieter, I am having key responsibilities for the design-to-cost for manufacturing & for assembly – electrical / electronic parts. Involving in the new product development from the conception to the preparation for Prototype and 0-Series machine, review the GATE processes and ensure the criteria must be met to determine the success of each phase. Follow up for the PLM workflow for the addition of the new parts in the SAP database. Provide engineering and manufacturing process knowledge as input to design decision making. Involving in the Taskforce DELAY activities for the global material shortage which needs to ensure the monitoring and reporting of project execution (including SteCos and cross workstream alignment), to ensure the allocate material to the prioritized customer and also provide the alternative technical solutions as a part of localization and the cost reduction whilst maintaining the machine standards and its specialization to be kept in place.
