I have always been a bit of a self-proclaimed nerd. From the time I began to read, my nose has been stuck in a book, but it didn't stop there. As I progressed through school, academics always came easily to me and not much has changed. Most recently I have been geeking out on all things Microsoft Office, especially Excel. I love to manipulate and organize information in a way that makes sense and can be used and applied in useful ways.Socially, those close to me would typically describe me as positive and friendly. I can build rapport and converse easily with pretty much anyone I encounter. I am able to navigate even the most awkward situations by finding a common interest or making small talk.My role in Human Resources plays perfectly with this combination of skills. I am able to communicate with employees, gather information, and apply it where necessary. My love of all things Excel allows me to stay on top of various aspects of my HR duties, from organizing benefits to CPE. It's all about the balance between the nerd in me and the social butterfly.
