My responsibilities at the popular media watch website The Hoot included researching, reporting and writing articles and briefs on media-related issues, as well as managing the website.

At Governance Now, I reported on urban development and the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. As per the magazine’s arrangement with The Goan, I also wrote a few opinion pieces for the latter.

My responsibilities during the first IGC stint included designing questionnaires, conducting surveys and analyzing primary and secondary data. I worked on three projects: “Cash transfer versus in-kind transfers: A conceptual framework and preliminary evidence”, “Cycling to school: Increasing high school enrollment for girls in Bihar” and “Political decentralization, women’s reservation, and children's health outcomes: A case-study of rural Bihar”.

My responsibilities at ASER Centre included conducting and auditing large-sample surveys in the central Indian states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, and assisting the team to prepare the reports. I was part of two projects: “Annual status of education report 2010” and “People’s assessment of health, education and livelihood (PAHELI) 2011”.
